1. Who We Are
Taqwa is operated by Askal Digital LTD, represented by Maximilian Rellin, Πυγμαλίωνος, 47, 8046 Πάφος, Κύπρος.
If you have privacy questions, contact support@gettaqwa.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide and improve Taqwa. Depending on the feature used, this can include account information, app usage data, subscription state, approximate or precise location data where permission is granted, and limited technical logs.
For internal admin tools, prompt configuration data and prompt-test data may be stored so the service can be operated and reviewed.
We do not use external analytics sharing for our internal analytics workflow.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to operate the app, provide AI responses, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, understand product usage, manage subscriptions, deliver location-based features, and comply with legal obligations.
4. AI Processing
Taqwa uses OpenAI to process chat requests and generate responses. Chat content sent to the AI service is used to return the requested answer. You should not submit sensitive information unless you are comfortable with that processing.
5. Third Parties and Service Providers
We use AWS for hosting and infrastructure logs.
We use Google for ads.
Payments for mobile app subscriptions are processed through Apple and Google app-store payment systems.
Location access is requested through platform permissions on supported mobile devices.
6. Retention
Where data is stored on our systems, we aim to keep it only as long as needed to provide the service. Data is deleted after account deletion where an account exists. Otherwise, service data is generally retained for up to one month after use, or it may remain only in local storage on the device where applicable.
Prompt-test data in the admin workflow follows the same one-month retention approach unless a shorter period is applied operationally.
7. Mobile Notifications and Device Permissions
This web project does not use push notifications or crash reporting.
The mobile app may use device permissions such as location access and may use push notifications where relevant to product functionality. Permission-based features can usually be managed from the device settings.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, and to object to some forms of processing. To make a request, contact support@gettaqwa.com.
9. Children
Taqwa is not intended for children under the minimum age permitted by applicable law without parental or guardian involvement.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by additional notice inside the app or on the website.
