1. Scope
These Terms of Use apply to the Taqwa mobile application and the related web pages operated by Askal Digital LTD. Taqwa is an AI-powered Quran reflection companion designed to help users explore Quranic teachings, reflect on personal situations, and access general spiritual learning content.
By downloading, accessing, or using Taqwa, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Taqwa Is
Taqwa is provided for informational, educational, and reflective purposes. It is not a scholar, imam, legal advisor, therapist, doctor, emergency service, or substitute for qualified human support.
Any Quran-based guidance in the app is offered as reflective assistance only. It should not be treated as a fatwa, personal ruling, or binding religious instruction.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You may only use Taqwa if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law. If the mobile app offers an account feature, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful content, or use the service to harass, abuse, or exploit others.
You must not rely on Taqwa for emergency decisions, medical decisions, legal decisions, crisis response, or other situations where a delay or inaccurate answer could cause harm.
5. Premium Features
The Taqwa mobile app may include premium subscriptions or paid features. Any purchase, billing, renewal, cancellation, or refund process made inside the app is handled through the relevant app-store payment platform, including Apple or Google, under their own billing terms.
This web project does not process subscription purchases directly.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
Taqwa, its design, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to Askal Digital LTD and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain rights in content you submit where applicable, but you grant us the rights reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
7. Disclaimers
Taqwa is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or suitability for every personal circumstance.
Because the service uses AI-generated output, responses may sometimes be incomplete or mistaken. You are responsible for evaluating whether a response is appropriate for your situation and for seeking qualified human advice where needed.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Askal Digital LTD and its representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of Taqwa.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
